Mnohé knihy o mágii spomínajú bobkový list, na obrázku je čaj z bobkového listu a rozmarínu

Vavrín (laurus nobilis) alebo bobkový list je mimoriadne všestranná bylinka. Isto ju pridávate do polievok, omáčok a strukovinových jedál, ale vedeli ste, že prináša šťastie, hojnosť a úspech vo všetkých oblastiach života a je veľmi používaná v mágii? Nečudo, že víťazov v staroveku krášlil veniec z vavrínu a ja dúfam, že po prečítaní tohto článku sa na ten nenápadný usušený list budete pozerať s väčšou úctou.

Bobkový list má ľahké sedatívne účinky (môžte ho piť ako čaj), podporuje trávenie, a má aj antiseptické (protizápalové) účinky. V Provensálsku rastie tento krík voľne v prírode, neznesie však veľké mrazy, preto ho pestujte radšej v kvetináči a na zimu preneste dovnútra. Rastie veľmi pomaly, ale po potulkách Provensálskom sme našli i úctyhodné exempláre, vysoké niekoľko metrov. Pre mágiu vám však stačí aj ten usušený lístok z poličky s koreninami (čerstvý má samozrejme u mňa prednosť).

Ako používať bobkový list v mágii

1. Hladká plocha listu je ideálna na písanie. Takmer každá kniha, ktorá sa venuje mágii bylín, spomína bobkový list práve pre tento účel. Napíšte naň slovo alebo znak, ktorý reprezentuje, čo chcete v živote dosiahnuť. Potom ho spáľte počas novu mesiaca - nastane tak výrazný posun v tom, čo chcete dosiahnuť. Slovo ako šťastie, hojnosť či láska môžte na bobkový list aj vyryť nožom - takéto lístky hádžem do Silvestrovskej kapustnice.

2. Každé čarovanie si vyžaduje sústredenie a odpútanie sa od reality. Na fyzické vymedzenie priestoru si vytvorte magický kruh z bobkových listov.

3. Bobkový list sa v mágii využíva na pričarovanie hojnosti i peňazí. Noste so sebou preto v peňaženke bobkový list.

4. Keď neviete, kam má váš život smerovať, spite s bobkovým listom pod vankúšom. Hneď ráno si zapíšte do denníka sen, ktorý sa vám v tú noc sníval.

Budete potrebovať: za hrsť z každej bylinky: ibištek, ružové lupene, palina a 7 bobkových listov pre šťastie. Zabalte všetko do vrecúška z gázy a dajte do kúpeľa.

It is no wonder that victors in ancient times were adorned with a laurel wreath, and I hope that after reading this article you will look at the inconspicuous dried leaf with more respect.

Bay leaf has light sedative effects (you can drink it as tea), supports digestion, and also has antiseptic (anti-inflammatory) effects. In Provence, this bush grows freely in nature, but it cannot withstand severe frosts, so it is better to grow it in a pot and bring it inside for the winter. It grows very slowly, but after wandering around Provence we found respectable specimens, several meters high. However, for magic, you can also use the dry leaf from the spice section.

How to use bay leaf in magic

1. The smooth surface of the leaf is ideal for writing. Almost every book that deals with herbal magic mentions bay leaf for this very purpose. Write a word or character on it that represents what you want to achieve in life. Then burn it during the new moon - there will be a significant shift in what you want to achieve. You can also carve a word like happiness, abundance or love on a bay leaf with a knife - I throw such leaves into the New Year's Eve cabbage soup.

2. All spellcasting requires concentration and detachment from reality. Create a magic circle of bay leaves to physically define the space.

3. The bay leaf is used in magic to conjure abundance and money. Therefore, carry a bay leaf with you in your wallet.

4. When you don't know where your life's headed, sleep with a bay leaf under your pillow. First thing in the morning, write down the dream you had that night in your diary.

7. Winter bath: this bath combines the scent of rose petals, the refreshing color of hibiscus, magical wormwood and bay leaves. At the same time, it wonderfully relaxes the muscles after exercise (you can also add rosemary and ginger). You will need: a handful of each herb: hibiscus, rose petals, wormwood and 7 bay leaves for good luck. Wrap everything in a gauze bag and put it in the bath.
